Make a note of it
Suggested by Tim SuddardOne of the the most dangerous things you can do during a restoration is to forget something. While it is always best to finish a task before taking a break, this is not always possible. We have found that by just writing a note on a pice of masking tape and lightly sticking it where you are sure to see it on the car, makes it nearly impossible to make a mistake and forget an important step or change that you need to make. Once the task is completed, you simply remove the tape and throw it away.

- Another great tool is the digital camera, and images are free. Use it often as you work, there will be many instances when you will be glad that you did!
