Coca Cola Chrome Polish

Suggested by Tim Baxter

Coca Cola makes a good, gentle chrome polish/rust remover for chrome bumpers and other brightwork. It’s the phosphoric acid in it. Obviously, make sure to rinse well or you’ll have a sticky mess.

No, this is a myth. Phosphoric acid is a rust preventitive, not a remover or a polish. Besides, there isn't enough of it in Coke to do any good. Dave

Used to work with truckers running loads of gravel all day…they would come in and buy 2 6oz cokes… one to drink, and one to pour across their windshields…took all the oil, grease, road dirt right off…!

Coke works also if you run out of WD40 and have nothing else. Think about what this stuff does inside your body when you drink it.
