Battery replacement -the obvious

This snuck up on me since it was not a complete failure. My car would sometimes sit for a few weeks and not get used and by then the 10 year old battery would be low and need a trickle charge. I accepted this as normal for a year and then replaced the battery last month. Car starts with no extra charging and takes a charge much quicker now. This is pretty obvious but I am used to a cold climate where a weak battery fails early on. So replace that old one and get a nice surprise like I did.

I just returned from a vacation and the car sat for 3 weeks. It was a pleasant surprise to turn the key and have good cranking to start the engine without any external charging. Ron
