1976 #132 50,000 miles Not restored… more of a rolling restoration. Needed “nothing” when I bought it four years ago. That was my story… several thousand $$$ later it is quite sorted out. A previuos owner added some goodies to the engine. My contribution to the car was gently restoring the suspension. Replaced all rubber throughout and replaced the springs with Euro/Montecarlo springs which lowered the car 1.5 inches. The car handles fantastic and I have yet to see another on the road…

A friend of mine had one in high school, circa 1977. Cool car!

What kind of engine does it have? Is it RWD? Looks great. Leo

Thanks, I think it would be a car you could miss as it is quite unique… The first one I had was owned by someone in high school when it was spun into a pole and left in a field for 15 years… just parts. Sorry, it is a 1.8L DOHC, single Weber 34, 5 speed. All transverse mounted, midships, driving the rear wheels. Rides very much like my friends 308…

Very nice looking car! I've always liked them, and had a friend that bought one that was turbocharged by a place in Florida in the early '80's. It was a ballistic fast…until it had a major melt down. It sat in a locked fence area of an apartment complex until the management had it towed to a scrap yard. I wish I had been there to intercept it. Great looking car!

Dave, I have yet to hear about a Fiat/Lancia with an aftermarket turbo set up that is anything but “melt down” they aren't built to run those levels of stress. A guy on the west coast has transplanted a Lancia turbo into his Scorpion and has dyno tested 284 bhp at the rear wheels… with that kind of power and a potential to get the car under 2000 pounds it should be wicked fast/quick!
