Small Parts Refurbishing

Feb 20, 2011 update on vangoughv's 1970 Triumph GT6+ (Brutus)

A little warm spell/thaw and seeing the roll cage almost complete I”m motivated to get something done.. I grabbed the box of small parts I sorted late in the fall and started at it. There a lot of rust, corrosion, over spray and broken pieces so it’s tedious but it’s coming along… At least I can do it in the warmth of the house, my garage is still freezing! I took a photo of some of the work on progress; headlights are done except new wiring harness, tail lights are broken and sockets need replacing, most of the parts are rusty and covered in 3 different paint jobs an overspray… The hood buffer seats have been stripped, the catches you can see are still covered in crap, if you look close . You may notice the head lamp pots are a bit honey combed where they rusted through, I cleaned them, treated with a rust converter and sprayed with silver metalic.
