Brutus’s first official car show was the Port Elgin Pumpkin Festivals “Cinderella’s Carriage Antique and Classic Car Show”. Its the largest out door car show in Ontario or Canada at this time of year and there were tonnes of awesome rides. I didn’t expect to win any trophies but I did get the best prize which was the kids response to the car. Brutus was definitely a big hit with the kids and one of the most photographed and stopped at cars. Someone asked if I’d mind it being featured in a magazine and the Weather Network set up in front of me and panned the car then the sky as he video’d the days weather. Several families asked if they could pay to have a snap of their kids in Brutus and of course I wouldn’t let them pay, the pleasure of seeing the look on their kids faces was payment enough. The minute my grand kids saw Brutus pull into the drive they shouted “Mommy it’s Lightning”. Have you seen the kids movie Cars?? I couldn’t get them out of the car…. LOL Great Fun! What a great time with the kids/grand babies. Best car event ever!
