Installed the Rocker and Rear Quarter Dogleg
May 1, 2011 update on vangoughv's 1970 Triumph GT6+ (Brutus)
Once the inner beam was installed the rocker and rear quarter dogleg panels went on pretty nice. I also cleaned up the old patch on the quarter panel someone had installed previously, shaped and welded it properly so it wouldn’t come apart as it had previously. Left to do: remove the crappy patch work on the rear leg of the quarter panel, repair & re-enforce the area where the bumper bolts to the quarter panel, tidy up the fender edge / flare (its’ a mess), tie in the bottom edge of the rocker and rear dog leg, grind and clean up all the welds and do a little hammer and dolly work. That’s a tall order for tomorrow night, we’ll see…….
