Finishing Underside of Bonnet
Sep 28, 2010 update on vangoughv's 1970 Triumph GT6+ (Brutus)
Finally back in the man cave and working on the racer. The bonnet is real solid but with 20 years of minor dents and a couple small, tired body patches along with 4 different layers of paint topped off by some cheap rattle can paint and primer blown over rust and bondo to hide it LOL. So I spent a full day doing nothing but grind, sand, a little welding, hammer/dolly, putty and more sanding. Canadian tire had some premium rubberized chipgaurd so I hit the bare spots with rust converting primer then applied the chipgaurd and it came up great!
