Beautiful. I love the early E-types with the closed headlights, and think the coupes may be even better looking that the 'verts — more balanced.

wetpossum, Thanks for commenting on my ride. So I stopped in to see what you have and lo and behold, an E-type! Gorgeous, I love it. Too bad we can't put more photos in here, I'd like to see more details in and out and under bonnet…I just edited my pic and changed it to a “collage” of one pic, sort of a cheater way to get more in there since I didn't know another way to do it here. Btw, my very first car was a '67 E-type Roadster that I bought for myself a couple weeks after I got my first job out of college. I loved that car so much I can't believe I failed and let it slip out of my hands. I also love the coupes, but I don't recall noticing any chassis flex even with the roadster…is chassis flex thought to be noticeable on roadsters?…maybe I just didn't know any better at the time. Congrats, and don't be stupid like me, keep it forever

Jaguar hit its stride with the E. I have to agree with Tim that the coupe is better balanced then the convertible. I love this car and if I had more time, money, and patients I would look for one. For now I will settle for the “poor mans E-Type” my Triumph GT6.
