Trying to get the panel sorted

Sep 26, 2009 update on Dave_Jorgensen's 1953 MG TD

We’re putting four gauges in the middle panel: boost, oil temp, ammeter, and a combined oil pressure/water temp gauge. All switches except choke will be toggles on the lower panel - even the starter as we’ll change the solenoid so its no longer a pull-start. Ignition key/light switch will be on outboard side of the dash [right hand side of a RHD car] with four idiot lights on right side: ignition, driving lights, low fuel, signal lights. The chrome panel will be refinished in crinkle black. Toggles will all match in the end, but today was the first day all the instruments and all the toggles were in the same place at the same time - small steps…
