Cool Alfa
Jun 4, 2007 update to the Alfa Romeo 2000 GTV project car
With our trip to VIR rapidly approaching and the temperatures expected to reach the mid-90s, we decided to try our new Griffin radiator and based upon the advice of our friend, Ric Lovecchio of RML Automotive. We also removed the fragile stock fan assembly and installed an electric unit.
We gave the folks a lot of measurements to make sure that the radiator fit correctly. Unfortunately, we measured the mounting tab position wrong, it’s about .6-in. too high and .6-in. too far back. We used a spacer, a washer and a longer bolt to solve our problem for now.
