Rust Prevention for Our 2002
May 10, 2011 update to the BMW 2002tii project car
With the majority of our rust repair completed on our BMW 2002tii’s unibody, we turned our attention to keeping rust at bay in the future. We treated the repaired sections, welds and wheel wells with a coat of Eastwood’s Rust Encapsulator paint. We’re now ready to install the nose and front fenders.

- Sorry i wasn't being clear. Are you retaining the kugelfischer system? If you are planning engine upgrades and keeping the KF how do you plan on tuning the car.

May 26, 2011 9:52 a.m.Per Schroeder:
- Ah, yes, keeping the KFisch. Engine will be rebuilt to mostly stock specs—adding a good exhaust/header, lightened flywheel, etc.
