Worth the Wait
Feb 2, 2009 update to the MG Midget project car
Getting our final Midget engine together has taken much longer than expected, but the results should be worth the wait. Carl Heideman just spent the weekend with APT’s Dave Anton. The goal was to make 100 horsepower, and they reached that pretty quickly. They didn’t stop there.
“We ran four cylinder heads, four carb setups, three sets of rocker arms, two exhausts, two ignitions and myriad other things,” Carl reports. Look for the full scoop in Classic Motorsports very soon.
