    I like this part!

"Able to track the movement of Cockpit Camera interface

I'm thinking maybe a 2011-2013 release knowing their track history.

I may finally have to buy a G25 wheel with GT5 coming out and the new F1 game due at some point.

I've got fairly solid information (as solid as can be until PD actually does release it) that GT5 will be out shortly before Christmas of 2009.

ill believe it when i see it. GT5 did get full rights to include NASCAR and WRC in the game as well. 43 of the NASCAR teams a alot 43 spaces of the 170 premium cars by the way. Statistics show that 92.457% of statistics are made up....just like the one I made up.

I found a car list, some interesting ones include: Checker Marathon, Chevy Vega, Pacer X (that's the fast one right?), ALL the Chaparrals, the Love Bug (various versions!), Ford Falcon XB GT Interceptor, Trabants (!), and yes looks like Rufs and something called 9FF FAHRZEUGTECHNIK (which appears to be a Porsche tuner)

I had heard the Porsche is out but hopefully the tuners are still in.

I have yet to see a game that makes me gotta have a PS3. This could be the one. Maybe someone will bundle a PS3, GT5, and a great steering wheel. That video footage looks pretty awesome, but if they still can't put more than 6 cars on the track at once, I'm not interested.

I have too, and of course with PD you know it's out when you actually see it on the shelf; BUT, being on staff at GTPlanet I hear a bit of the inside scoop, and sources I trust say 12/10/2009.

I won't comment on any car lists that may be out there, since a wish list thread created on our own GTPlanet forum got widely circulated by the press as the car list for GT4 when it was actually just a very detailed and comprehensive dream.

Same here... until then I'll make do with my $70 used X-Box & PG1/PG2/GT4 set-up...

Metal Gear is a great reason to own a PS3. I, too am waiting for the full GT5. Prologue? What a waste of money...I could see buying the prologue if you only had to pay another $20 and upgrade to the full game but...

So the 10,000 strong car list circulating the internet is probably another wish list? Damn; a thousand is still pretty good, though,

GT5 IS the game that will make the PS3 a must have for me. I finally have a good HD television plus high def/blu-ray

47" of GT5 = me not seeing daylight for 40-50 hour stretches at a time...GUARANTEED

I'll stick with Forza. FM3 is due in October. It doesn't have 1000 cars, but it does have 400 good ones. I think I'll be OK without a Checker Marathon.

    They've got my car...R-package FTW.

I tried drag racing, but kept blowing the apex for turn two...

I remember when GT2 came out and there were so many cars, my buddy and I literaly spent some 20+ hours straight through that first weekend. I think we took one break and went for car ride. That was a mistake, we drove like idiots. No harm no foul, i guess.

Well Prologue had 20 cars on track, and nearly as many online, and I doubt they'd go back on that.

Sorry, I just don't believe anything about GT5, or that it even exists, until I see it. Some of the fanboy car dream lists have been around for years and I don't trust them much.

i got a PS3 and prologue as an x-mas gift along with a driving force GT wheel. trust me, it's totally worth it! i can't wait for the full thing. i don't trust any thing i read about GT5 unless its from polyphony themselves, but i'm still anticipating the full version. i've played all of the other gran turismo games WAAAYYYY too much to lead a normal childhood, lets see what they can do with my early adulthood!

In reply to ProjectVIN: I have to figure if Nascar has given them the green light, we'll have to see 43 cars at once on the track. I'd love to be able to do some amateur touring races at a place like Mid Ohio or Road Atlanta with 40+ cars. That would truly be the ultimate driving simulator.

I find the idea of a race between Marathons, Trabants, Love Bugs and Pacers (in Wayne's world livery) quite fascinating... but I am weird like that.

Hopefully they have lots of customization options so I can make the above dream come true.
