  I've mentioned him on here before. He is truly unique as far as rockers go. Good family man, fun to be around even for an old geezer like me. Got into trouble for drinking- got a DUI in Australia- on a moped. That's it.

  Thanks for the pic. That's me on the left, my son Chas, David, my son Tim. In 1979, Dave played drums for the first time, on Chas's set. My boys go to a lot of David's shows, but not this one. It's fun to have a family like mine!

  Dave Grohl is one of the few famous people that i want to meet. i've been on a huge Foo Fighters kick for about the last 6 months or so- i've always liked their songs and loved their videos, but i didn't realize they were such an awesome rock n' roll band until i saw them playing Wembley on VH1 Classics this spring.

  their new album is awesome from start to finish and the "Back and Forth" documentary really shows just how "normal" they are for a bunch of world famous rock stars..

  so CWH- next time you see him, please tell him "thanks" for just being "Dave Grohl- normal dude that just happens to be a world famous rock star" and give him a big "berkeley yeah" for putting on this show for the Westboro special needs squad..

  You cant say many good things about rock stars. This alone would make me a fan, but being not a huge fan, hes been a part of a few of my favorite songs. Good people are good.

  I like the Foo, but I have always been more of a Nirvana fan... Either way, I approve.
