Thanks. I bought the gopro roll bar mount but will return it. I like the one in the car better. I didn't know they made to tripod mount. I'll look for it!
Tnx
Futureshop or best buy.
I also tie wrap the camera to the mount.
I've been told FF cars have lots their cameras down the back stretch at Mosport.

End of P3 I ran a little wide through the Esssesssss. First time running with sticky tires I picked up a lot of marbles.
First thing I thought was damn I blew a 1/2 shaft u-joint... Then thought... WAIT A MINUTE. I have a solid axle. Opt'd to pit in 1 lap early. No drama.
Qualification did a 2:18 @ 110KM/H. Last yr I did a 2:23 so an improvement, but the weekend went down hill from there.
Still we worked hard and gave it all we had. Next yr the car will come back even stronger.
I was running on some borrowed 14" R888's. Nice grip. I will stick to 13" tires and wheels, but it appears my minor suspension mods worked out well.

Andre, I like the position and POV from the video camera. Seeing the entire cockpit and even the mirrors is very nice. Watching you work the car is great. I need to re evaluate where my camera is located and see if I can get similar results. Winter project list just got longer.
I have a few questions, differences with US rules I guess. In the vid, near the end, I saw everyone waving what appeared to be red flags. In the US, (SCCA rules) red flags mean stop now, on the side of the track, something ugly is on track ahead of you. Obviously this has a different meaning there. Were the flags red or was it trick of the light/ camera? A second item, it looks like you don't wear arm restraints. In the SCCA, any open cockpit car driver has to have restraints, they check us every time we leave the false grid.
I can see improvements in the car and driver, keep up the good work (and have fun)

Thanks Mike the track is so nice. And yes slight improvements between the driver and car.
Similar rules. Red return to pits, but be ready to stop on the track.
And those rules vary from practice to qualification.
As per the restraints I've been thinking of getting some, but so far not required.
2010
2011 Same corner with suspension changes.

Andre - for some winter consideration... see http://bringatrailer.com/2011/10/04/seller-submission-1971-fiat-124-spider-2/
Doubt it can be justified...other than "it would be nice"...but it's always fun to dream...
Regards GWGarrard (p.s. did you get the timing resolved??
Hah its only a 1.6L too slow ;0
I've not touched the car since I got back. Was busy with my birthday and then over weekend re-injured my shoulder.
So suffering though that again.
But I'll get her running smooth soon.
Bought a 1 1/2" short socket today. Now hunting for a new 2 groove pulley.
