So I have a '64 Spitfire that has been heavily modified and has a Canadian Automobile Sports Club tag on it. (Vehicle number 5108 so if anyone knows anything about the history on it please let me know) I am thinking that building a vintage racer out of it makes the most sense so what can anyone tell about where to start? I live in Huntsville AL.

Off the VARAC email list.
Likely an early CASC National number, before CASC-Ontario Region. It would be a Quebec Region car, 108th car. Typically a dash between the 5 and 108. If someone (tech inspector) has the old Quebec region archives they might have a name assigned to that number. Without an old car number, or name, or a bit more detail ... it would be tough to come up with much more history.
