Can anyone point me in the right direction to find out if there is camping allowed at the track during The MITTY?

If not at the track, are there nearby State/ commercial campsites?

This is on the Road Atlanta "about us" page: "Camping is available in the infield at most races.Camping is not permitted at Ferrari Challenge, Year One, Drift Atlanta, or WKA events. Reserved RV sites are available on a limited basis. Rates vary between events. Call for rates and reservations 770.967.6143, or 1.800.849.RACE."

While the official policy has been that camping in the infield is $50, I have never heard nor experienced that tent camps are ever charged. Last year we were the only tent camp in the infield that we ever saw. Our total interaction with security was a drive-by - they asked if we had everything we needed, we said yes, and they went on. A motorhome, etc. may have different experiences.
