  Go Bobby, looks like a new venture for Mr Rahal. I wonder if Letterman is involved too? Do we really need another sanctioning body? Will a vintage racer put a different focus on events?

  I would say ,it would change spectator numbers quite a bit. all those old super race cars were deemed DANGEROUS.

  all said and done something in the human spirit, likes the potential of death by catastrophe.

  I once made a statement at a motorsport club,in new england,1966, that the essence of motorsports IS,

  the closer you can come to death, with out stepping over the line, the more the rush, and somehow the better you feel, about it.
