The Can - Am Mini Challenge Race at Mid-Ohio
Presented by: Seven Mini Parts Dear Mini Racing Enthusiast: 2014 will mark the 55th anniversary of the indomitable Mini, and to celebrate a special tribute race weekend is being organized. We are excited to announce that the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association, in conjunction with the Vintage Grand Prix event at Mid-Ohio, will feature the Mini in 2014. All race prepared Minis are eligible, including Mini-powered variants and GT5 cars. This event is sanctioned by SVRA, therefore cars must meet SVRA safety regulations to participate. The event offers racers the challenging world class circuit at Mid-Ohio and organizational excellence of SVRA, and in addition we have a number of special activities planned for the weekend: Minis-only feature race Generous corporate sponsor prize draws Commemorative group photo Exclusive reserved paddock area Come celebrate with us at Mid Ohio as we pay tribute to the Minis amazing racing heritage over the last 55 years. Our goal is to have the largest ever entry of racing Minis in North America! An event website is being developed, and a link will be posted here as soon as the site is live.
