btw, there is a huge section on this topic on Nasioc, if you're looking for a "broad" consensus from WRX owners.

Konis really are the easy button. And you can adjust them if you want a little more trackworthiness in the future. There is also a Tokico option that's not bad---we're going to try a set of those on Tom's WRX.

Koni/Bilstein is usually always a pretty good solution.

Koni's work fine, though I do have kyb gr2's on the back of my wrx wagon. Seem to work fine, lost one and they warrantied the replacement.

I think the critical thing to do is the tophats, go with the group N mounts if you can swing it. Makes a world of difference regardless of the strut used.

There's a Whiteline front strut mount that adds some camber and is molded with the Group N rubber. That's what I'm going to use on the rallycross impreza. Gets me camber w/o using camber bolts that slip.

For those trying to look it up, it's known as the "Com-C" top hat, and in addition to adding some camber, it also adds some badly -needed caster.

I am patiently waiting for it to come out for the new chassis (08+) wrx's so I can pair it with my new Bilsteins + 330lb springs :)

I don't think bilsteins are available for his car, FWIW. Could be wrong though...

You could go for the used STi struts, which were made by Bilstein?

AFAIK the only stock struts that Bilstein made for US-spec subarus were for the Legacty GT B-spec....but I could be wrong.

Or you could buy an 08+ wrx and then get the new GTWORX/Bilsteins that are currently shipping!

Will STi struts bolt right up to a WRX?
