I'm wrapping up the next issue's news section and haven't quite picked our Internet Hot Rod of the Month. Who'd like to be featured? This is how it works:

Your car must be in our Readers' Ride section.

You must be able to mail a good, high-resolution photo to me asap.

You must know your name and what was done to the car.

First one to complete the above wins. My email is david at grm.com. (Well, spell out GRM.)

    Good luck.

Email sent! I can get better pictures within the hour but that was the best I had with a "first caller wins the tickets" response time.

How about the 2010 Concours d'Lemons Soul-Sucking Japanese winning entry of a Gulf-liveried 69 Datsun Roadster? 'Scored/Bribed' by GRM-sourced judges...
As a final tempt, I actually purchased the car after reading the 2000 GRM article on the cars and found mine a month or so later...
All work, save motor rebuild and airbrushed door-panels, was GRM'd by yours truly...

So we can email you any time about consideration for Internet Hot Rod of the Month? I realize you can't make any promises, but I've always wondered how IHRotM cars get on your radar.

I try to get to everyone who makes a submission, but sometimes things fall through the cracks--or a photo isn't quite up to spec. If you'd like, drop me a note with your info and I'll see what's up.

Heck, he used mine for Reader's Rides once and the staff there politely tolerates my existence.
