  I have thought about trying to locate a STI and swapping the drivetrain in, doing ANTI-LAG , the body work i dont think will be a problem since i have alot of contacts with race teams, so i can get some fiberglass fenders and doors and bumpers, ect..

  mate it with a stone stock '64-ish beetle. beam front, swing axle rear, 1200 cc single port, just to berkeley with people. maybe even build a fiberglass split-oval insert for the rear window.

  Other than that, um. Hmm. No clue. Looks like it'd be a massive white elephant to turn back into a car, and I'm assuming that the free ownership comes with a non-sale clause attached.

  Plus, the tub will have a VIN, and you wouldn't be able to register it. Unless the tub does NOT have a VIN, in which case... you wouldn't be able to register it.

  Sucks.
