I'm toying with the idea of releasing my BMod LeGrand back into the wild. If anyone is interested in one of the fastest BMod autocross cars in the country---and one of the fastest autocross cars period---let me know. Asking 25k.

With the introduction of a second child into our household, my wife and I are looking at moving and need more room--and with the housing market being what it is...this takes precedence.

I am not selling this car to buy another car (yet)--I'll be running the Classic Motorsports BMW in FSP for 2011.

Do you refer to it as an auto-x car because it has had very difficult or expensive to reverse changes that would prevent it being used as a DSR for road racing with SCCA?

Dad's got a second car now. He's cool with it.

As for road racing--it's not hard to make it a road racing car, it's just way more competitive in BMod than DSR. Change some alignments, remove the second element on the wing, put a different sprocket on it and go racing. Cost...20 bucks. Per

Dad wants to play with his car--not this car---so it's going to be sitting there. I hate to see race cars sit.

Are sports racers generally accepted at time trials and track days?

This is the sort of thing that people who like this sort of thing will really like.

Any vintage groups that it's eleigible for? (of course, assuming a correct motor)

may help buyers think about it in some regions.

Yep, legal for vintage racing if you backdate to a carbureted engine. Might be legal in HSR as-is.

Well, that one's got some history behind it. The ones that haven't won a National Championship are still pretty affordable.

Tell you what, you can store it in my garage in Spokane, WA until you find a buyer. I promise that I will exercise it at all of the local events until then...
