Soooo... is the T6 swap hard? Because that's incredible and i must have one.

Oh my lord, let's go halfsies on one. Don't be surprised if you wake up duct-taped to your sheets with the car gone. I swear it was the repoman.

I can't decide if i'd want a T5 or a T6. The T5 actually sounds crazier to me, but there's something about a Turbo i6 wailing that really does it for me.

Always loved that boxy body style. The Volvos (and Saabs) of the 70s and 80s rocked! It was when Ford and GM got a hold of them that they got ruined.

I have heard that the T6 is easier to swap into the rwd cars. Something about custom oil pans and turbo-to-fender clearances or something.

A mouse has cut the wire! Good-by!

    Yup.

I finally got a Maserati Biturbo.

I'd surely ditch the little twins on the T6 and go with a big single Garrett or Holeset.

I've had delusions of a B6294T powered 242 for years.

Hmmm...I just bought a 745 Turbo. Maybe I should turn up the boost and run it till it blows as an excuse to swap a T6 in.

Or maybe I shouldn't since I don't have much money.

Sooo... the swap isn't actually that bad? HRM.

What transmission do you use for these shenanigans?

Any idea whether the T5 or T6 adds a bunch of weight to the nose? Here's me hoping that they're somehow lighter in construction or more conducive to being set closer to the firewall.

I loves me some 240 wagon (245? Okay, my love hasn't shed the full light of naming conventions on me...), and that seems more "right" than a Ford swap. But if it's going to be more nose-heavy than a V8, that seems wrong.

Ive got a very nice 78 242 someone should buy..

As for that vid, i guess the poster is better at donuts than showing trap speeds in his video. What's he got to hide?
