The size isn't of any importance is it, or the number of axles so load range requirements can be determined?

225-75-15. GVW of trailer is 10k. Two axles

... but I'm just looking for a trailer tire source... why do you need the size? I can pick the tires, just need to know where to get 'em.

The last couple I got from Northern Tool. Any more I run radial truck tires on my enclosed and buy them wherever they are cheapest.

I like long walks, especially when they are taken by people who annoy me.

I just picked up a set of Loadstar tires pretty cheap from Eastern Marine / Trailer Parts Superstore. They shipped 4 205/75D15s to my house for around $250 or so, and they were pretty snappy about it. The shipping had sort of collapsed the sidewalls into each other, though, and I had a tough time setting the beads, but I'm guessing that is more because of the bias ply construction than anything else.

I've got about 2,000 loaded miles on the set now and so far they're tracking straight and riding smoothly, even without being balanced.

Previously, I had been just getting used light truck tires and using those, but I figured at that price, I might as well use the right tool for the job.

I've found trailer tires already mounted for sale at Menards, Wall Mart, various Farm & Fleet stores, etc. IF you have wheels already then check with any of the big box tire stores in your neighborhood. If they don't have them in stock they can order them. If you have a place that can mount tires then perhaps Tire Rack is the place to go.

Try www.trailerpart.com, they has pretty good prices on tire/wheel combos. I don't know if they have just tires though. Edit: They do have just tires, not much cheaper than the wheel and tire combos though.
