I know we just switched over to RacingJunk.com for our over $2010 classifieds... but I want to share it with the general populace the fact that my Swift GT is for sale.... can I list it anywhere OTHER than there? It's being sold at $2500.

Help? Just want the word out because this car NEEDS an owner like us.

I think you just did it.

I hear it's listed for sale on Teamswift

Just say no to rat rods. There's already enough junk out there.

I hear it might be on Indianapolis Craigslist for a steal of a price.

Hey Bob, What is the rust situation like? How are the spots where the front lower control arms? Is there rust or repaired rust anywhere? I am really tempted to buy the car since it's such a great deal, but I already have a few rusty gt's.

Rust was my #1 concern. This car still has the original paint colored undercoating on most of the underbody. Lower control arm mounts are clean, nu rust in the rockers or inner fenders. About the "rustiest" part of the car is the rear LCA's and they are only light surface rust from the paint not being thick enough.

So this is a rust free car. I kept it indoors for all of winter. It didn't see sunlight until late march.

I know that this car isn't quite as frugal as its chassis-mates, but how does it do on fuel with the modifications?

WEll, last weekend taking to Grissom and back (150 miles roundtrip) it got a tick over 35mpg.

Argh. I wish I knew someone who I could talk into buying this thing. I've spent too much money lately.

Best of luck to you in the sale, but I don't think you'll need it.

I've always wanted to take a car like this and transplant all the sweet bits into a stock-looking Metro convertible.. is that just wrong? ;-)
