I remember lusting after one of these in high school after seeing a road test in Car & Driver. All I had to drive was my '70 Olds 442! Smoked the tires well, but didn't handle worth a crap! Enjoy!
and now for something completely different...

How can it be a midlife crisis, when I've driven sportscars my entire life?

Even looking tired and faded on the back of a trailer, that's still a sexy car.
Good luck!

Holy crap!!! You've added 3 cars in the short time since you started the thread for the Cheap Bastards meet?
That is incredibly impressive, as well as efficient. I now officially worship the ground you hover over!!!

I'm curious (and jealous) about your storage facilities. That's the one thing that keeps my numbers down a bit.
(and congrats on another cool purchase!)

Three different angles of pictures and all three have garages in the background... and all three garages match!

Sweet score.
Aside from the ample outside space and ample garage space it looks like maybe you own your own wedged car hauler?
Also sweet. -

You are very welcome, and I think my wife would make you some chocolate chip cookies for next time you are in town. She has been trying to get me to sell that car for @ 5 years.
Of all the cars I have sold that was by far the hardest, but knowing it went to a good home helped a lot, that and that aussi said I can come and visit it once and a while. That has been one of my dream cars ever since my dad took me to the 85 Frankfurt Auto Show, I will have another one in the garage at some point.
Fried, shoot me a PM, I have a CD that would come in handy with your GTV6.
By the way I found some more parts, let me know next time you will be around and I will set them out for you.

The front of the hauler is missing, it is just a trailer now....for now.
I purchased the Convoy Compound early last year, it had 5 buildings, three are garages, one is a pump house and the other a partially built residence. There is parking for 15 undercover in a pinch. We have been updating the facilities, adding windows, heat, equipment since.
5 of the cars are purely work, 4 are parts to maintain the business fleet and for the Triumph rebuilds coming up soon.
93CelicaGT2 PM me if you want
Thanks again Aaron, I will let you know when I come by next.

Back in the fall of 1979, I was 17 years old and somebody had one of these for sale and my mom was encouraging me to go buy it. "Italian" car - how romantic she thought. But I was hot on the trail for a BMW 2002.
My dad was against all of it and told me I could drive his Datsun 210 when I needed a car. Or I could drive my mom's 1968 Olds "98" 2-door (455 - 4 barrel carb) when she wasn't driving it.
So I have always had a soft spot for these old Alfa's.
