Looking for a junkyard parts list to do a 5-lug conversion on a '90 Mustang GT.
I know that I need two same side axles from a Ranger/Aerostar, but I'm not sure which side, and I've got a tingle in the back of my brain that says it's one side one one of 'em, and the other side on the other.
I'm assuming I'll also need the drums, and I'm hoping that the brakes are the same size, so that I can just put the new drum over the existing brakes and everything is magically happy with a minumum of fuss.
For the fronts, will the A-arms swap between foxbody and SN95? I'm assuming the SN95 arms are longer, and that's a good thing. My biggest concern is front brakes; I'd like to stick with my stock calipers so that I can keep my existing master cylinder and not have wonky brake balance (I also JUST bought brand new Porterfield pads that I haven't installed yet, darnit!). I seem to remember reading that I "should" stick to '94/'95 units for some sort of compatibility; I'm assuming it has to do with the threading on the brake lines?
Will the stock foxbody calipers fit on the SN95 spindles? What about GT vs V6 on the donor car?
I appreciate any info I can get - I posted this on my usual Mustang board, and haven't heard a peep!
