  I have no affiliation, but I suspect that the arrival of this book is going to change our world here at the GRM forum.

  I've been waiting for this book for about two and a half years now and I finally got my hands on a copy today. It's not even available from Pelican yet. Up to this point, there has been no singular source for such comprehensive info on these cars, which are quickly depreciating into GRM territory.

  I think this is going to be fun.

  It's much less than you'd think, especially this time of the year, but no, you're not going to find $19 brake rotors at NAPA.

  That book gives me hope that a mere moran/mortal such as myself can keep a 911 SC or 3.2 Carrera on the road without going completely (more) insane or broke. And from what I've seen of parts outside of the engine and some trim, they aren't really that expensive to buy parts for. $19 may not get you a brake rotor, but they're not completely insane either.

  Ah, I thought this was an update to include the water cooled cars, it's nice to know that the book I would get is separate from the rabble.

  Wayne writes a damn good book. The guys in our shop swear by his "How to rebuild and modify your 911 engine". I fully expect the Boxster book to be just as good.

  We should be getting our shipment of them in shortly, I will have to snake one to read for my personal benefit.

  I wonder if one of the projects is to reduce the 5 feet of front overhang. I do not like the styling of the front end of Boxsters. They act like there is an engine up front with that long beak. If I had a boxster or cared to have one though, I'd be glad for this book.
