  I took my boys to a BMW club track day at Mid Ohio last Sunday and there was one of those running, same paint, wheels and all. Very cool.

  Dude - cars are meant to be driven. I have 2 pictures somewhere, taken by 2 friends I trust not to be lying. One shows a Ferrari Challenge Stradale in a WalMart parking lot, just parked normally. It was there when my friend arrived to shop and still there when he left. The other is a Carrera GT that spent several hours parked outside a house which, if combined with 3 or 4 of the immediate neighbors, might be worth as much as the car was.

  Last summer we were oing to see a movie at the local dollar theater. When we parked the car I thought my 6 year old son was going to hurt himself he was trying to get out of the car so fast. He gets out, grabbs my arm and starts pulling me a couple of rows over until we are looking at a new Aston Martin V8 Vantage. Very cool.

  Meh, they can park however they choose, nobody's going to think about dinging it.

  I don't know, I'll bet that dark car (generic Mercedes clone?) is perfectly capable of dinging that door.

  I don't know whats cooler, the Aston or the fact that your 6 year old was that excited about it. My son is 3 1/2 and I hope he is that excited about cars when he is that age!

  A few times on my way home from work this spring I saw a pair of silver 911s driven by two very similar-looking older guys (I'm guessing twins). One was a GT2 and one was a GT3.

  i was not able to keep up with them on the on-ramp.

  a few weeks ago i saw one of those same guys in a new GT3 RS (dark blue/purple and orange), pulling out of Barnes & Noble.

  one of the paralegals here has an '07 Viper. not sure what i'm doing wrong. but he drives it to work every day and parks it in the same cheap surface lot i do.

  If he's parked on the line, he's a dirtbag. If he's just oooched up beside the corner striped area, that's just good defensive parking.

  The dark sedan would appear to be a violator.

  I figured he was parking way over to keep knuckleheads from dinging his car.

  I can't blame him on that one. (like I would have a clue what it would be like to own a car like that)

  This thought cracks me up, especially among car enthusiasts. The Porsche parked nestled up to a striped, non-parking area. And yet you guys give him a hard time for his inability to park? Why?

  It reminds me of a time I encountered this exact sentiment a few years ago at our local mall. I parked in, quite literally, the last spot available in the angled parking section, the furthest possible point away from the entrance to the mall. Much like the Porsche in this picture, my passenger side wheels were just into the striped area of the parking lot. When I came out, I had a nasty gram under my wiper, saying something to the effect of "when will you BMW owners learn how to park?". I was dumbfounded.

  Man, you guys are harsh on the parking job. At least the exotic sports car is getting used for more than a garage decoration! It's not like he parked illegally in a handicapped spot or blocking a fire lane.

  The whole notion of ragging on a guy for how centered his car is in the parking place - based upon a picture is REALLY STUPID. Has it occured to anyone here or on Jalopnik that there might have been an earlier car that was hugging the line? Porsche dude has to hug the opposite line himself to keep a safe distance from the first guy. The first guy leaves, and the Porsche is left OUT OF CONTEXT.

  Sorry, but that's a pet peeve of mine. I got ticketed for that once. When the original culprits had moved, and I appeared to be the only one out of place.

  I got a note on my window written in girly writing "Learn how to park" a few days ago... All the cars were at an angle, so mine went in at an angle too. My car stayed for a few days. Then came the note, my car was the only one on an angle.
