  I am going to be doing the head gaskset on my brick in the next couple weekends, and I need my head decked nice and flat, and I also have a broken stud I'd like extracted.

  How do I find a good machine shop to do this work?

  Find guys with race cars and grease under their fingernails and ask where they send things.

  I'll drop a post on the Chrome Czar board. Old school hot rodders around Chicago. They've weeded out most of the flakes.
