I got these Fromula Car noses when I bought my old Formula Ford chassis. They are obviously much newer than my '75 Titan, but I'm not sure exactly what they are from. My first guess would be from the Barber Dodge Pro Series, possibly a Mondiale chassis, but I'm thrown off by the Champ Car decals. I can't find any photos of either the Dodges or Champ Cars that show this nose.

    Anybody know what they're from?

Those nose shells look like they would fit nicely on these cars:

The Barber school originally used Mondial chassis and apparently switched to Reynards in the late 90's.

Are there any ID markings, stamps, or decals that might shed some more info?

I'll have to check closer for any ID marks, but I don't think there are any.

They're not from those Barber school cars in that photo. I did the Ski Barber school in those cars. They had Neon engines and "H" pattern gearboxes. They may be from the larger Dodge "wing cars" that had the sequential boxes, but I can't find a photo. I think those cars used the V6.

Yep, 3.0L Dodge V6, and ran under Champ Car sanctioning.

Thanks, now I just need to find a photo. Any idea what year they ran under Champ Car?

About the best info I could find in a short Google search of Barber Dodge Pro Series. And I guess it was a Reynard monocoque chassis with a 3.5L V6.

    I just found this site:

I hadn't considered that there may have been a smaller nose cone on the front of what I have. There doesn't seem to be any kind of flange or anything, but it looks like this might be the car:

    In reply to Woody:

Is the front wing on that car mounted to the monocoque? There could be some provision on the bottom of the cones to accomodate the mounting points.
