I got to The Mitty later today, and don't think I had one second where I wasn't talking to anyone. Please make sure you stop by the tent and say hi.

Hehe . . .We were over in the support paddock, turn 10, and spectator today.

I'm think we'll pitch at turn 10 for the rest of the weekend.

Coming tomorrow and meeting a friend at the track...

Is there free parking available outside the track? Near the registration trailer or across the street at Lanier Speedway?

We only want to pay for on infield parking pass.

You can probably park down near the registration trailer, they use it for spectators at the Petit. If anyone gives you any grief for trying to drive down there, just tell them that a Worker left you a guest pass, and you have to go down to the trailer to claim it. We really don't sweat people parking down there, as long as it's not right in front of the place.

How can it be a midlife crisis, when I've driven sportscars my entire life?

The Mitty is a hard to beat event.$25 and my Son was free. Over the top amazing vintage race cars of all stripes everyfrickingwhere. Road A has nothing but excellent vantage points. My eight year old was drooling on a Carrera and the guy came out and asked if he wanted to sit in it? Uh yeah... We watched a 1:15 lap (!) and even the Nascars were lifting their inside tires at turn five. Has to be the best deal in motorsports. Even you folks at the tent were nice. Very nice deal!

I just got home and I had blast. I think they hadthe rear toe set at zero in the Khumo miatas this year they were alot slidier than I remember them being. The cars were amazing and the people were really nice I got several back issues for a dollar a piece. I met brian johnson what he hoot he turned out to be. All in all I feel I got really good value for my 25 bucks. Also I think I have finally converted my wife to the dark side she was screaming fo me to slow down in the miatas but she really liked it and now she wants her own miata.

and it gets such phenomenal economy, it gets a whopping 15mpg and uses premium, split 4 ways that's about a quarter zillion each.

the up side is it rides like a dream and it made it without failing... both ways
