From my old Mustang racing days. I was moving some stuff around on the shelves and ran across a 4130 tubular K member for a Ford Fox body Mustang or ?? Also a pair of front 5X4.5 spindles/hubs to do away with the 4 lug. Manual Steering rack, 8.8 3.73 gears, 8.8 3.55 gears, Aluminum manual brake mount/MC, etc. Might have more parts?, just have to look.

I would like to start, by finding, a needy new friend in the SE building a $2012 Challenge car. They are 100% free. Anyone in GA? AL? building a Challenge Mustang? Team? Thanks for looking. T

Because they are free I am pretty specific. Lets see if I get any takers that meet my wishes first.

PM sent - very interested and in ATL; working on a 2013 car though (don't think it'll be done for 2012)...

Gasoline - if you just need em out the way, I can pick them up and store them for Steve (aussie) till the Mitty. Lemme know.

Thanks for all the support guys, I can really use those parts and have partaken in the past 3 challenges so I will be there.

Emailed you directly, and I might/should have transport sooner than the Mitty from another GRMer who I am working on a swap deal with.

    Bueller, Bueller.

A response to my two emails or on this thread would be nice.

I hate it when this happens. (Chomping at the bit to close the deal and no response).

I did respond. I posted my wishes again. I was trying to be nice. You are not reading them. It is easy.

Are you needy constructing a $2012 build?

    Are you in the SE?

I could sell this stuff (and I have found more), but I thought that it would be something odd to try and give it away for free and foster/seed a new $2012 build. Maybe a start enough for someone who has never been to a Challenge before, like me.

Why the SE? Florida is a long way from most and a recipient in the SE has a better chance of affording $$$ it to make the Challenge. If they are close enough to Atlanta, I will do what I can to help. I want to see this stuff built/used at the $2012 Challenge.

Aussiemg: You have a well established effort, from a previous build Challenge $2011? $2010 or earlier? It is a very nice car. Be proud you don't really need a charity handout.

Wait, why won't you give them to him, again? I don't understand your rationale.

Because he's been to the Challenge before?

Because he's not in the SE (although he has contacts to pick up the parts)?

Lets not forget I am a one man team who threw the car together in 2 weeks to be a part of 2011.

Hell yes I am needy. The Mustang handles like E36 M3 and the results at the autocross bear this out

Btw if the parts arent available to everyone equally then full market value must be applied.

    Those are the rules.

Contact me to prove I am worthy of your generosity please.

You mean the rear wheel is suppose to come off the ground in cornering?

    THIS

It's true and very important. So if Steve doesn't qualify, whoever ends up with them HAS to take the FULL market value on them out of their budget.

I am confused. I am also in North Georgia and will be happy to pick up parts to give to Steve at the Mitty. Steve will then put said parts on his Challenge car. Dig?

I think it's because you live in Ohio. Now if you wanted someone to make sense of that... I've got nothing.
