This is tacky enough to be a genuine George Barris custom. Not sure how to hang up the phone.

$1.2 Million? Cocaine is a hell of a drug!

Looks more like Meth to me.
I lift things up and put them down.
Gee, you'd think if you bought a car like that and thought that it was worth something, you wouldn't just leave it outside to rot. That thing's a mess. Doesn't look like it's been detailed since they shot the last episode that the car appeared in.
One point two million? Good luck!
I see, it is the addition of the tail lights from the "advanced version" of the vega that really drives up the price.
Finally an example of "box flares" not making a car more awesome!
It has always amazed me how the same George Barris could be the man behind the stunning "Hirohata Merc" and all those 70's custom travesties that make "pimp my ride" look subdued
Man how tastes change

I was just gonna ask if those were vega tails.
Go fast or go broke.
I thought that they looked more Monza.
In reply to Sofa King:
I see Monza there. FWIW, I'd rather have a Monza.
I tried drag racing, but kept blowing the apex for turn 2...
Monza, Vega -- aren't they all the same basic car?
And, for what it's worth, this is the FIRST post I've ever made in a thread that included a picture of Farrah Fawcett -- and she was an integral part of my pubescent development ![]()

Vega:
I was never alive during the 70's, all i could guess is that bush was a very popular item back then. Looks like they coated the dash and door panels with it! And talk about a car phone! Texting and driving is bad? What about A ROTARY DIAL?? hahaha!

That, and you could get the Monza with V8 power.

They definitely held down a key a little too long, and it wasn't the one labelled '1' or '2'.
Sanity is vastly overrated.
this is definitely something i would see in my <$2000 CL search, especially in Georgia

Wow - that is a real mess. Poor C3 Vettes - always getting messed up.
So what do you guys think it's worth?
Mint? It'd probably be worth 75k. It's gonna need that much to restore it, and it's not one of the more famous Barris cars. Well, not in comparison to say... the original Batmobile.
Go fast or go broke.
If it's verifiably the original Barris one (which the seller seems to imply), I would guess probably around 10-20% of the asking price due to rarity and celebrity connection.
But what do I know?
Sanity is vastly overrated.
I don't think I'd pay more than $500 for that. Yuck.
seriously... US $1,200,000.00.... WOW...lol
