    i like the color scheme

spending money I don't have to buy parts I don't need to impress people I don't know

Yeah, but for $900 and "runs good'? Not a bad track car, I think.

I'd consider it myself except I've decided on something with a v8 - and no, I don't have the time or inclination to convert this one.

I actually purchased this car last night. I am building a space frame that the Miata suspension cradles and drivetrain will bolt into. I will use these parts to lay out the frame and to build a jig.
I am working on a lightweight fiberglass 50's inspired body to go over the frame. The goal is a simple 1400lb sports car.

Sounds like quite a project, good luck with it and post your progress, I'd love to see it.

Am I the only one that got a bit confused by the title? I know what a NA Miata is. I know what a NB Miata is (I own one). I know what a NC Miata is. But didn't know what a NH Miata was.

Did get me to look though.

All I know is a NH Miata is way better than a NY Miata!!! Smaller, lighter weight, less things to go wrong.

"New Hampshire" - Noob mistake I guess, didn't realize the confusion with chassis codes - Sorry.

    In reply to SeanC:

That's OK. Miata's are one the the very few chassis codes I know. I'm usually confused when chassis codes are tossed around like everyone should know them. Engine codes confuse me even more sometimes. Makes me feel so inadequate sometimes, like I'm not in the in-crowd.

You're not alone by a long shot.

In reply to triumph5: During a lunch break at an autocross earlier this year, a couple other guys and I was talking and this came up. We came to the conclusion that we were just over the hill and too old to understand all these codes and that it's code talk for the youngsters.
