So the Boss 302 comes in at about $43,500 and the Laguna Seca comes in at around $48,500.

    Not bad!

When you can leave black marks from the exit of one corner to the entry of the next, THEN you have enough horsepower!

    Not bad?

$50k for a house is not bad. $50k for a mustang is atrocious!

A fully loaded GT500 is more than that! LOL

I was honestly expecting them to be in the $60-$70k area.

Everyone wants to start ordering the Boss 302's I guess. LOL I work at Ford and I still don't know.

My Sales Manager here at the dealership told me again that we would sell these at the configured price. We're in Texas, so if anyone wants to buy one, let me know. Not trying to push my dealership or anything, just letting ya'll know he's doing it for me and friends of mine. Ya'll are all considered friends. LOL

I want a V-8, manual trans, manual windows, cloth seats, without a/c or a radio. I did not see that on the configurator.

When was the last time you could order a Mustang without the rear seats? That really is boss!

There's $1500 cash on the hood of 2011 models now. I still say the V-6 is the screaming deal of the century. 300hp is a lot of ponies, and the lighter engine probably improves handling.

Base model + V6 Performance Package = The best $25k you can spend on a new car.

Considering the ford's performance & that there's $64k hyundais for sale, its a fairly good price.

Hmm, a little on the expensive side - even the V6 premium one I specced up came in at over $30k, with the non-Laguna Seca Boss (albeit with a few options like the Recaros) came in at the mid-forties.

And no green at all, by the looks of it .

    Sanity is vastly overrated.

No, it isn't. What will beat it around a track at that price point? That's right-nothing. Add Ford's current stellar build quality, collectability, great options, retro tie-in(for those that care), track keys, race seats, adjustable aero and suspension, open side exhaust, etc, etc, etc.

IBT, "my Miata/Civic/RX7/Corolla/sh*tbox only cost 500 bucks and will own that car in an AutoX/rallyX/dragstrip/roadcourse/Dukes of Hazzard jump" Don't care.
