Sigh pouring rain today. Snow by the end of the week.
I should try and wash the GT6 before the big nap :)

I know what you mean... I still need to wash mine before tucking it into the back of the garage. Might be forced to try out the Griot's waterless car wash spray on it.
Speaking of...
Got an early xmas present.
Set of dolly casters for the GT6.

I'm not down with the new format, it's harder to navigate through. Posting is more difficult and don't even think of trying include any photos. I liked the site like my cars............the old style.

Count me as another who has to keep logging in AND Firefox doesn't show new/old posts. You're making it too hard. Fix it and I may do more than browse it once a week. I otherwise get my fix over at the GRM forum.
Awww...I could've had a falcon!
I have to admit, while I can appreciate the desire to have the forums stand out against the other 8 zillion car forums out there, at what point does tryingto reinvent the wheel start to get old? ![]()

I can stay logged in but not showing new/old posts happens on IE also. Arrgghh!
I'm using Firefox, and staying logged on no prob. I don't see anything that marks new posts, but it's easy enough to look at how long ago the last post on a topic was. The "go to last post" arrow is still buggy.
I liked the old forum better, but maybe I just need to get used to this one.
I did have to update safari on my macs to see the forum correctly.

I've been lurking here on occasion but have been pretty busy the past month. Besides the flooding and then the snow storm that took out my power and a few trees in the yard, I've been fixing/ upgrading the fleet. Classic stuff, rebuilding the front end of the wife's Spit. Springs, shocks, bushings, tie rod ends, Ball joints, bearings, brake lines. Since it was all apart, blasted and painted everything too (Mushroom Factor, you know how it goes, if I don't do it now, when will I). Almost done with that, one of the stub axles didn't look that good (MF again)so I lost a week waiting for the replacements to come in.
While the Spit was apart and taking up a garage bay, my wife's DD had a problem. It was fixed one day, ready to finish up the Spit and my son's Jeep, winter car, started acting up.
Hope to get all this routine crap out of the way and finish re assembling the GT6. (pics soon I hope, looking great)
Then the race car engine swap project, the get the older boys Spit ready for paint project, replace the rear caliper on the Mercedes project, the list is endless but it keeps me busy and happy.

More hit and miss here anyway, usually found on the other side in GRM. Just check in to stay in tune

Yup, still here and checking in. Board activity was down so I posted less. Less posting equals reduced board activity... vicious circle I guess. Also, new girl friend means less time in the garage, which means less interesting things to post about. Hhmmm... gonna have to do something about that.
Sometimes, the faster it gets, the less you need to know. But you got to remember, the smarter it gets, the further its going to go.
Hmmm, sure you picked the right girlfriend?
Hehe. All about balance ;)

Hey! There was a star next to the unread thread. Looks like progress. Well done lads!!
Ah, ok, I can see things better in FireFox. I'll have to update my Safari so that it doesn't mess up the thread formatting.

Thanks for the tips guys. We are working through a lot of these issues. Tom Heath, are you listening?
I agree with Ian... If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I much preferred the old website/forum layout. I'm always puzzled by webmasters who feel the need to overhaul their sites for no apparent reason. Cheers, Scott
