  Jaguar butt, Chevrolet headlamps and maybe fenders...looks like one of those things someone cobbled together from a couple different cars.

  Off the top of my head, I think it may be a Jowett Jupiter.

  Tim Baxter fail. Though not a bad guess.

  The Jowett's lights are flush in the front and the fenders are way different. I swear those headlamps are from a Chevy.

  Hey, it's been awhile since I've seen a Jowett.

  But yup, you're right, not a Jowett.

  Saw this on another forum, they are guessing at it too. Someone there got close up pictures of it and on the inside of the windshield there is print under windscreen says "39 Chevy 2DS". So perhaps a modified one-off, possibly using both 39 Chevy and Jowett body pieces. It looks like it might be wider than a Jowett so perhaps based on a chevy chassis.

  Not just the headlamps... The front fenders look like those from the chevy as well. I bet it is someone's custom roadster creation that started as a Chevrolet.
