    I don't know Triumphs, but my guess based on how the Brits designed their electrical systems is the green wires which usually are for ignition powered accessories might be for the instrument lights and the light green wires might be the power coming from the voltage stabilizer.

    Which gauges are they and do you have pics?

    All Triumph Stag, I didn't take a pic, but the lighting is a bulb socket in each gauge so it is not one of the stated wires.

    Looks like light green comes from the output of the voltage stabilizer to the temperature and fuel gauges. Then Green with Black and Green with blue go to the senders.
