  I see you've had no comments on the Tiger. Hmmm, perhaps you and I are the only ones that own one of these that reads about AND drives them, cause I have seen a few of the little rascals. Seriously, I have enjoyed the story so far and have enjoyed my own car since 1983. People don't realize how neat these cars are, I have tried to spread mine around middle Tennessee and north Alabama for years. Mine has an authentic 289 HiPo in it and it got put on a crash diet when we built it. It now weighs 2350 with 1/4 tank of gas. I may have beat some of the cars that unsuccesfully "challenged" us on the street, but for safety sake I claim I don't remember. I would have liked to have put a multi-hundred cubic inch Kasse or Roush motor in it, but I couldn't stand to cut it. You have done a great job on yours, I sure hope you enjoy it as much as my wife and I have ours.John

  There's been quite a few comments on the Tiger. They're spread out among the updates. It's definitely a very popular project. And for good reason -- it's REALLY nice.

  I've been following it closely as I'm building another V6 Alpine and appreciate the attention to the weak points on the chassis and the improvements made. I'll incorporate many into the project.

  Really nice Tiger! Series 6, nice V6 Alpine! I'm rebuilding a 67 Alpine and considering a V6 transplant. Would you be able to itemize the parts used and where they came from (ie. engine, transmission, rear end..).

  Something tells me the Tiger is going to turn out really nice and sound like a monster. Might have been the car parked in the CM tent at the Mitty this year that's giving me that idea.

  We did have the Tiger at the Mitty last year.

  We have been sorting it and it is my favorite car of all time.I am very pleased with how docile and comfortable it is and then, how you can hammer it and all freaking hell breaks loose!

  In reply to null: I'm not sure what articles you are refering to. I am also a Tiger owner and added a picture of mine into readers rides section here. I've only owned it since last August. Having a great time so far.
