There's an NSU TT Racer over at BringATrailer.com that's kinda cool. I have no interest in the car per se, but I dig the three box styling. And it's really boxy too!

Turns out that I like the three box shape. Some of my favorites are three box designs. BMW 2002s, Datsun 510s, Lancia Fulvias (not the Zagatos), Alfa Giulietta sedans, and even the original Sentra SE-R.

I realize that modern cars still have this basic construct, but they're not as "boxy" as these classics.

I saw that NSU also. Funny thing though, as while I like all the cars you listed above, that NSU did nothing for me. I think it may have had to do with the diamter of the tires, but idunno.

I like the three box style too, but just can't get into cars with a flat front and no grill. Yeah, corvairs, included. I love my 1972 Volvo 142's look, though the 242's don't seem to look as good. I think they just look to heavy compared to the better shape of the 142 box. Does that make any sense?

Renault 10 is another good example of classic 3-box.

The E21 and E30 BMWs are kinda cool, IMHO. Cheers, Scott

I'm starting to like the look of the flat front with no grill. I would like to add the sunbeam imp.
