    What a gormless moron!

Almost a shame to see one of the few remaining Bugs go that way.

Geez - twenty years ago no one would ever have believed that VW Beetles would one day be rare!

i used to have one w/ a 2130cc three peice race motor... it was a 74 super beetle... my wife has been hinting around that she would like to have one restored for a daily driver... i don't know if i would have the will power not to try the convertion. there again, no disrespect but the only car i have ever owned, that i didn't do anything to is the 06 titan i drive daily now... i have the mod illness!!!

wspohn- it isn't like he had to hack the car up to put a rotary in there... it is accually a pretty common swap these days... check this show stopper out:

    http://www.geocities.com/zenjoe/vw.html

he tells the whole story about his swap on this site..
