  I just talked to Andy, and he'll post something from Scottsdale tonight. Short answer, sales are going very well--the market is still strong. While there are some good deals, there have also been many very well sold cars.

  Saw some nice Healey's make good money.

  I just shake my head and think, I'd loose money if I ever tried that with my GT6...

  Yeah, a big Healey traded for a tick under $100k. Wow.

  I can't stop watching even though it is currently a Mustang/Camaro/Corvette fest. Wish they mixed it up a bit more but still like it.

  Saturday at Gooding and Company in Scottsdale I saw a Mk1 BN7 in #1 condition sell for 99k. It was a Kurt tanner full restoration. Another 300, a BJ8 Mk3 sold for just uner 70k. The same sale saw a Series 1 XKE, also a Tanner restoration sell for over 120k. These were real prices for real cars. I saw a Classic subscriber at the Gooding sale spend over 30k on a series 3 e-type roadster with a seized engine. Another subscriber bought a nice 1950's Sunbeam Alpine at the RM Arizona Biltmore sale, think To Catch a Thief and not Dr. No, for 52k. The market is strong and many people in the hobby who have pulled their money out of the stock market are now buying additional cars with that same money. Makes me wonder how weak the economy really is.
