We just got a press release, next years Pebble Beach Concours will feature:

    • The creations of Benz and Daimler and their successors -- notably, Mercedes and Mercedes-Benz.

    • Early Rolls-Royce Silver Ghosts (1907-1919).

    • Stutz Centennial.

    • The Birth of the Ferrari 250 GTO.

    • Italian Motorcycles.

Sounds like it is going to be very cool!

I'm disappointed they've apparently ignored the 50th anniversary of the introduction of the Jaguar E-Type. I'd been planning on taking mine to Pebble for years to take part in festivities I assumed would take place.

There's still a lot of time between now and Monterey. I'll be shocked if the E-type isn't recognized at one of the major events.

I bet that the Quail Motorsports gathering, my personal vote for the very best Monterey event, will definitely celebrate the E-Type and would also expect for the e2a to show up as well.

Pebble will likely also do some small e-type display.
