Today is the kickoff: breakfast, Brumos, ferry across the St. Johns River and St. Augustine. For dinner, Peter Brock. (Wait, he's not on the menu; he's our speaker.)

Today's activities: Breakfast and a quick tour at our offices, laps at Daytona Speedway, Living Legends of NASCAR museum, and Blue Springs State Park. Let's hope we see some manatees (not on the track, in the springs).

No manatees were spotted on the track. I saw lots of smiling faces, though. I also saw some new appreciation for the word "banking."

Starting day four shortly. Things have gone quite smoothly. Haven't had time to post. I sent a few pics to David. Highlights: running pretty hot laps at Daytona. I was surprised how hard the pace car driver drove. I was at close to full tilt in the TR6. Manatees are still in at Blue Springs. Most people have never seen them. Met Don Garlits yesterday. No real rain so far. Yesterday's roads were good. Today's roads are better.
