Sorry if this stuff is in the wrong forum for the post, y'all..but while looking for parts for my dead `81 GTV-6, I discovered that the guys at IAP had found this:

A lil' reasearch into the Giulietta in the early days of SCCA Production racing. Good stories about and from people like Chuck Stoddard, Bob Grossman, and others that were the first group of racers to run Alfas in the US during the 1960s. Please make sure you click upon the link to Pt.2 after savoring the original goodness!

Per the article, this is Chris Noyes and Stoddard leading the GProd field (Porsches!) through a turn at The Glen, 1961.

    Great link, thanks.

Running my MGA in the 70s put me square in the sights of Porkers and Giuliettas!

    That's sweet. Great link!

I tried drag racing, but kept blowing the apex for turn 2... Xbox Live gamertag— GRM Tom

Glad y'all enjoyed it! I love SCCA club racing. Wish I had the skills (and server space) to build a website like that thing Nick England made about VIR. In case nobody saw it on the Donna Mae thread, here it is again:

EDIT: wspohn, sounds like you might have some interesting stories to share!

How can it be a midlife crisis, when I've driven sportscars my entire life?
