  I am buying a Volvo in the Charlotte NC area. Anyone see a trend with Volvo happening here? I actually have already sent the owner a deposit for the car. Is there anyone just north of the charlotte area off of I-77 that could take a look at the car and insure that it is indeed not rusty and a pile. It is a bit late at the point since I have effectively bought it but since I will not get it until March or so I would love to put my mind at ease.

  I have a very short checklist of things to look for on the car if anyone is interested.

  I don't have any Charlotte trips on my schedule, but I'll keep my ears open for friends traveling in the area.

  What sort of Volvo, Andy? I'd love to see a couple photos if you've got them. JG's new 142 looks like it will be a good one also.
