Are you ready for a Miata restoration?

Started with a pile of cr@p painted with thick and crusty truck bed liner as purchased on GRM $2009 classifieds. Built April 1989. It was amazingly original, from the underhood power connector cover, the no crack dash, to the unbroken dipstick handle, right down to the 4/7/89 dated shocks.

Thanks. I can't claim credit for the bodywork though.

While I funded the operation, sourced parts, did some repairs and R&R to the PS, AC, seats, and an alignment and also helped with some reassembly, the bodywork labor and skill credit goes to my cousin in FL.

Who says Japanese cars aren't classics!? I can think of at least half a dozen makes and models that were and still are so far superior to anything in their price range at the time of production.

Its hard to believe that is even the same car. Great work bringing it back to its former glory.

It still impresses me how much the hardtop does to improve the looks on these cars. Nice job!
